Monkey Shake

This is a delicious one for kids and an all natural, vegan, high protein shake when you need a boost (about 17g per serve).

  • 250mL rice milk or dairy alternative
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbs hemp seed powder
  • 1 tbs peanut butter
  • 1/2 tbs cacao
  • 2-3 dates (optional for sweetness)
  • 3-4 ice cubes
Blend and serve.

Today I topped mine off with some smoothie sprinkles - Power Super Foods cacao crunch, Loving Earth buckinis and Honest to Goodness coconut - All available from my favourite co-op Sweet Harmony. Not necessary but gives a little crunch factor while you sit back and enjoy your smoothie (and it looks pretty!).
